Recent progress you’ve made possible

What we’ve been up to this past quarter, in all ProVeg’s different areas of action.

We support and connect global partners and start-ups to advance plant-based and cultivated food innovation; we raise public awareness around the multiple benefits of these foods.

Exclusive Consumer Survey Report launch

Powered by caring donors like you, we launched our European consumer survey about plant-based foods last quarter, which was a huge success. We also hosted a successful webinar on the survey, with the attendance of high-level employees from Tesco and DSM. The survey was featured prominently in media, including many B2B outlets in print and online and even featured on TV in South Africa.

You are bringing the Food Innovation Contest to Shanghai

ProVeg China and the Shanghai Society of Food Science launched a plant-based food innovation contest, the first of its kind in Asia, to accelerate the creation of sustainable and healthy vegan food in the area. The contest involves major Shanghai universities and leading food and beverage companies such as Beyond Meat, Lee Kum Kee, and Oatly. This is progress ProVeg supporters make possible.

ProVeg Poland cooperation with Knorr

This past quarter your help began a cooperation with Knorr, who are committed to launching various plant-based products in Poland. Knorr is the biggest selling food and beverage brand owned by Unilever, with annual sales topping 3 billion euros. ProVeg advised Knorr with a presentation to company employees on the environmental impact of food, reaching over 500 Unilever employees. As well, ProVeg prepared a substantive part of content for a video on the same subject — thank you for amplifying plant-forward progress around the world.
