Rinse and soak black-eyed peas to soften it for 20minutes.

Place the black-eyed peas in a blender or food processor, and blend. Add water if needed until you get a smooth paste.

Transfer the paste to a mixing bowl and add the chopped onions, scotch bonnet peppers, and salt. Mix well to combine.
