A green smoothie is a perfect way to start the day. At breakfast or after a workout, there’s never a bad time to enjoy a green smoothie. Spinach gives green smoothies their bright green colour. Spinach has been associated with strong bones and a healthy heart, as well as muscle growth. It’s one extremely healthy leafy vegetable!

Make your green smoothie your way

You could follow this recipe or come up with your own variation. You could even replace the spinach with its healthy cousin, kale, or swap a banana for a mango. There are countless combinations for you to explore.
