Over the past few years, our movement has experienced significant growth in many countries and is continuing to expand. A shift toward a sustainable, fair, and animal-friendly diet is slowly becoming a reality in these countries. But, while there are various players involved in the support of human rights, environmental protection, animal welfare, and animal rights, both on the local and international level, ProVeg is the first international organisation to advocate for plant-based living and conscious nutrition. Thus far, ProVeg has established offices in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Poland, and Spain – soon to be followed by other countries around the globe.

Our goal is to unify the most important players in the movement, which requires close networking between individual country branches of ProVeg and ProVeg International. This will allow for valuable exchanges of knowledge and experience and will broaden the impact of the global plant-based movement. A unified movement is especially important in countries such as China and Brazil, which are predicted to increase their consumption of animal products in the coming years. In a globalised world, we need to look beyond country borders. ProVeg internationalises the movement for a plant-based future.
