Steak with mushrooms and vegetable chips

4 tbspoil

1 cupmushrooms

1garlic clove

1 ½ cup(s)carrots

⅔ cupparsnips

1 tspthyme
Instructions

Peel the carrots and parsnips, and cut into thin chips.

Mix the vegetable chips with 2 tbsp oil, salt, pepper and thyme.

Bake the vegetable chips on a baking tray for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 °F.

Slice the mushrooms and crush the garlic.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, and fry the steak on both sides for 9 minutes.

Remove the steaks from the pan, and allow them to cool for 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, fry the mushrooms and garlic until golden brown.

Serve the steak with the mushrooms and the vegetable chips, seasoned with salt and pepper if necessary.
