However, guacamole should not be made every day of the week. Avocados may be delicious, but avocado farming makes a lot of demands on the environment and consumes a lot of natural resources. Delivering avocados worldwide contributes to a global carbon footprint, so we suggest eating avocados only on special occasions and not on a daily basis.

Ingredients

1red onion

2 cloves ofgarlic

2avocado's

2tomatoes

1lime
-
½ tspsalt

1 tsppaprika powder

1 tspcumin powder
Instructions

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Cut the tomatoes into quarters and remove the seeds. Chop the remainder into small pieces, and add to the onion and garlic.

Remove the avocado from the peel and mash in a bowl or on a cutting board with a firm fork.

Mix the avocado purée with the cut vegetables in a bowl and squeeze the lime over the top.

Season with salt, paprika, and cumin powder.
