If you’ve never made salsa before, you’ll certainly be making it again once we show you how it’s done. The recipe is simple and the results are fantastic. Fresh tomatoes taste and smell amazing. Balsamic vinegar adds a fresh flavour. Different herbs create delicious taste combinations. Salsa can be eaten with potatoes, salads, tacos or whatever else you fancy. It’s the perfect side dish.

Fresh tomatoes are the essence of a good salsa. Make sure to buy fresh, good quality tomatoes and your salsa will taste incredible every time.

Some sources recommend eating tomatoes three times a week, thanks to their health benefits. Tomatoes are full of vitamin C, zinc, calcium, and iron. Salsa is not the only reason to bring tomatoes into your diet!

    red onion
  • 2 cloves of
  • 2 Tbsp.
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp.
    olive oil
  • 1 handful of
    fresh basil


  1. Cut the tomatoes into cubes of about 1 cm and put them in a bowl.
  2. Chop the garlic and red onion into very small pieces. Combine with the tomatoes, and add the balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
  3. Break the basil with your hands into small pieces and add to the bowl.
