Expand your culinary repertoire with some great plant-based cookbooks
04/11/2019
Vegan cookbooks can be a fantastic resource when you need some inspiration for the kitchen. Whether you’re committed to a vegan lifestyle or you’re just exploring plant-based recipes to expand your culinary repertoire, vegan cookbooks are a great investment. It’s easy to find thousands of recipes online, but hard to know whether they’ve been well-tested. On the other hand, recipes from a cookbook by a reputable author and publisher are much more likely to be fool-proof.
Here are some favourites:
BOSH! Simple Recipes by Henry Firth and Ian Theasby
The hugely successful video-recipe duo now have two great cookbooks out, featuring simple, delicious, and very accessible vegan recipes.
The Joy of Vegan Baking by Colleen Patrick-Goudreau
A really good option for baking, with a wide variety of recipes, this is a firm favourite with many vegans.
Veganomicon by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Romero
A great reference cookbook– the 10th-anniversary edition is now available.
