Alpro South Africa

Cook with Alpro
Alpro products are great to use when cooking. Pretty Things Delicious Eats suggests that we use Alpro Roasted Almond (One of ProVeg SA’s favourite Almond Milks available!) to make a Vegan Cheese Sauce.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup vegan butter/margarine
1/4 cup flour
1 cup Alpro Roasted Almond Milk
1 1/2 cups grated vegan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian herbs
1/2 tsp paprika
Method:
Melt the vegan butter in a small pan over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour for around 2 minutes to form a paste. Add in the milk and whisk. Add in the cheese bit by bit while continuously whisking – you want to try and melt as much of the cheese as you can. Add in the herbs and whisk well. Serve with potato fries, over fresh pasta or over cooked vegetables.
