THE MULTIPROBLEMSOLVER
ProVeg South Africa
WEBINARS
We regularly facilitate and hosts online panel discussions on topics related to plant-based living.
Our webinars provide the opportunity for individuals to tap into discussions about plant-based diets free of charge. In 2020, we have explored the connection between plant based diets, immunity and athletic performance. The best way to keep up to date with our webinars is to sign up for our newsletter.
BRAAI DAY
Celebrating a plant-based Heritage Day
Heritage Day, 24 September, is often celebrated around a braai with family and friends – so much so that it is now branded as Braai Day. Every year, ProVeg South Africa organises an epic plant-based braai on Heritage Day to showcase just how tasty and fun it can be! Unfortunately due to Covid-19, our 2020 braai was just a team braai, but in past years we have had over 250 people attending our fully plant-based Braai Day event, and we plan to grow this in future years.
ProVeg International
VEGMED
Europe’s first and only congress on vegetarian and vegan nutrition and medicine
VegMed is specifically targeted at physicians, medical students, and nutritionists, as well as people from other health professions such as naturopaths and dieticians.
VEGGIEWORLD
Europe’s biggest and oldest vegan trade fair
The biggest vegan lifestyle trade fair is now held in over 13 locations across Europe. Aimed at both the plant-based sector and the general public, the event is extremely popular with visitors and exhibitors alike and is a key event on the vegan calendar.
CEVA
Center for Effective Vegan Advocacy
Our CEVA workshops aim to increase the impact of vegan advocacy worldwide. CEVA is a program of Beyond Carnism, a charitable organisation dedicated to exposing and transforming carnism, the invisible belief system that conditions people to eat certain animals.
